YouTube has announced that, very soon, users would be able to broadcast videos directly to their subscribers from their mobile phones.
“You won’t need to open anything else than just hit the big red capture button right there in the corner, take or select a photo to use as a thumbnail, and you can broadcast live to your fans and chat in near real time” the company said in a blog post.
The Google-owned video service has been offering live streaming services amongst other services since 2011 and was the first to ever broadcast a 360-degree live stream to over 21 million viewers.
YouTube Mobile Live Streaming, as it is called, would be added into the core YouTube mobile app and the app will also have all the features YouTube’s regular videos has. YouTube live streaming
